Very smooth loose wavy curl. The texture is fair soft and bouncy. Changes to lighter brown with lighter conditioner and lighting. It's very strong hair, and I don't often snap a strand. It's thirsty, and I bet it would take to dye easily. I wouldn't know. No dyes, heat treatments, or fancy stuff ever. I hardly even tie it. I shampoo once every 2-3 days, conditioning well after with cooking-grade coconut oil and drying it quickly. In showers between those days, I rinse my hair, then touch up any dry parts with small amounts of oil, usually just the ends. (I am extremely myopic.) The hair strands look a bit wider than most others I've met of my complexion. I cannot see one split end. The strands look very smooth with a continuous shine in the light. I plan to freshly wash, lightly condition, and shave my hair when it is sold. I will ship it with a desiccant.
