Hi! I’m not sure what to write but here goes…
My hair has been heavily complimented my whole life haha even when I’ve had it short, because you can see it’s very healthy. It’s naturally wavy, even though you can’t see that a lot on the pictures. I explain that in a second.
My secret is I let it be… I don’t use unnecessary products, I wash it from 3 to 4 times a week and in winter even less. I let it air dry, veeery seldom do I use a hair dryer. I like to cut the tips every 1 or 2 months to keep it healthy and even. I use heat on it (from a straightener or curling iron) once or sometimes twice a year. Whenever I want to have some extra waviness or curls I just braid it for a few hours. It is reaaaally manageable and the styles hold on for days. When I do curl it (even without heat) I have to wash my hair or comb it a few times to loose the curls. That’s why on the pictures it looks straight, if I comb it enough when its damp- along with the weight of the hair (‘ cause it’s very long and I have a lot)- I loose a lot of the waviness. I choose to do that, though, so if you want a picture of how it looks naturally wavy feel free to ask for it! I didn’t take it already because the last weeks in my city have been super cloudy and I don’t get good lighting. I need it so the highlights I mention on the title can be more noticeable, I have like specks of lighter blondish/reddish hair.
Neither me nor anyone in my house and friend’s group smokes, I’m pretty much never around cigarette smoke, including fog and stuff. I live in a small city.
I have good eating habits, I’m a vegetarian so I pay more than the usual attention to the food that I eat and check that everything’s balanced. I do exercise (tennis, gymnastics, basketball sometimes).
I use natural shampoo from a company called Lush (check it out, the founder is a trichologist). Sometimes I use conditioner, and it’s also from Lush.
Sometimes I like to try natural homemade hair masks (not anything with lemon or any abrasive stuff like that), but it isn’t really a habit or something constant.
If there’s something else you want to know feel free to ask!
