My nine-year-old daughter wants to sell her hair and put the money in her savings toward college. She has been growing it since 2016. Her hair was last trimmed about six months ago. The total length is 17 inches, but the buyer may want one inch trimmed off to even up the ends.
The color is light brown, but you will notice a golden shine in the sunlight. Her hair is straight. I frequently braid it, and it holds a nice wave after being braided, which you can see in the last picture.
Her hair is washed and conditioned approximately once per week. It is naturally air dried. We do use a detangler spray to help with combing out tangles, but her hair is completely virgin. It has never been dyed, permed, ironed, or heat treated in any way. I see to it that she eats a healthy diet high in vitamins and Omega-3 fatty acids. She is not exposed to cigarette smoke or other unhealthy environmental conditions, as our home is a smoke-free and alcohol-free home.
