Texture:

VERY fine and silky. When in a braid or ponytail, the hair is only about 1″-1.5″ thick.

Care and Lifestyle:

I never use heat tools on my hair as it’s very delicate and won’t tolerate heat. I don’t use shampoo, but instead do conditioner-only every other day for 10-20 minutes. This helps keep my hair extra silky. I’m a professional fitness trainer, so I sweat daily. It doesn’t seem to impact my hair’s health so long as I “co-wash” every other day. Because of my job, I eat extremely healthily. Think body builder or supermodel diet. 10+ servings of veggies daily, lean meats, nuts, and lots of fish and Omega-3s. My diet helps keep my hair healthy and strong.

Ethnicity and Background:

I’m half German half Scottish. My hair is a unique blend of light blonde and strawberry red that runs in my family.

The photos were taken in July in bright noon sun to best showcase my hair’s blonde tones. Outdoors, my hair appears more blonde. Indoors, my hair’s red tones come out more.
